More Belgian online gambling licenses issued

The Belgian Gaming Commission has approved three more licenses for online gambling within its borders, naming Napoleon Gaming and Stargames SA in extending the operator’s’ licensed casino activities to include sports betting, and approving Lucky Games as an operator of internet arcade games.

Napoleon Games is teaming up with Unibet subsidiary Kambi and plans to launch a mobile and online sports book for the Belgian market.

Stargames SA operates the Goldenbet.be in Belgium, and similarly plans to extend its offering by including sportsbetting.

The three new licensees join a growing Belgian list that includes Jackpot Party, Win2Day, PokerStars, Partouche, Casino777 and Unibet and seven online sports betting operators.

Under consideration is the Bwin.Party group, which has partnered with France’s Partouche Group.
