Netherlands authorities clamp down on illegal operators

The Dutch gambling authority Kansspelautoriteit in collaboration with Police, the prosecuting and tax authorities raided two premises in Amsterdam and Haarlem where two operations were suspected of running illegal sports betting businesses.

The first raid in Amsterdam netted eight people believed to be facilitating gambling and two laptops while the second raid in Haarlem earlier in March culminated in four arrests and the seizure of another two laptops.
