New Canadian deal for Amaya Gaming

Amaya Gaming, the Montreal-based online gambling software developer that hit the headlines recently by buying up tranches of Cryptologic shares, has announced a new deal for its virtual horse racing product.
The company will supply its virtual horse racing systems “Royal Grand Prix Derby MTD” and “Royal Grand Prix Derby on Air” to Société des Casinos du Québec in terms of an agreement inked this week.
The games will be deployed in various land properties, including the Montreal and Lac Leamy casinos.
Commenting on the deal, David Baazov, Amaya’s president and chief executive officer, said: “We are very pleased to have signed such an agreement with Quebec’s casinos, they are recognized as one of the most innovative, forward-looking lottery and casino operators.
“It represents yet another important milestone for us. The addition of the Société des Casinos du Québec to Amaya’s growing portfolio of customers is consistent with our strategy of offering expanded gaming and entertainment solutions.”
Luc Morin, director new products development of Quebec’s casinos said: “We’re convinced the virtual horse racing systems will be extremely popular with out clientele. We believe these solutions fit perfectly with our strategy of continuously offering the latest and most exciting entertainment experiences.”
