Punters are being given the chance to cut out the bookmaker and take control with the launch of EveryFan, a new app set to transform the mobile betting experience, a statement from the developer claimed Wednesday.

EveryFan players will be able to compete with their friends via a points system, choosing different bets both in-play and before kick-off, in a bid to gain prizes and bragging rights.

The app provides a platform for players who want a more social experience from their betting and bids to take advantage of the rise of the second screen and boom in on-the-go mobile gambling.

Leon Walters, CEO of EveryFan, said: “A first scorer bet can end as quickly as it begins, but with EveryFan you are given the chance to stay involved for the full 90 minutes.

“EveryFan players can set up leagues, as well as dictate the buy-in and pay-out structure. It helps make betting more sociable and there’s no better feeling that winning your mate’s cash.”

Offering a range of free and paid-for tournaments, the EveryFan app challenges players to wager 10,000 points on a range of betting markets.

Those players with the highest total of points and in the money positions at the end of the tournament win a share of the prize pool. And there’s a chat feature to allow for friendly banter.

EveryFan is licenced and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

The app will soon be made available on Android devices, too.
