Novomatic interactive subsidiary in deal with mobile app developer

Novomatic Interactive subsidiary Greentube has announced that it has signed a partnership deal with the Gibraltar-based mobile app developer Chopsticks In The Apps Ltd through which it will organise distribution of Chopsticks games through its online, mobile, social and land-based channels.

The two companies have agreed to work closely together to hand-pick a selection of fast-paced and easy-to-play casual and social games. Chopsticks will add mathematics to create highly entertaining skill-based titles that will be made available by Greentube on all devices.

The games will expand the Greentube portfolio with a broad new range of titles that target a wide demographic of player of all ages, the company said in a press statement Thursday.

The statement notes that the deal marks the entry of Greentube into the skill-based gaming segment being explored by companies to attract a wider variety of players. A new take on casino games, and the excitement of interactive, casual and mobile gaming will merge with Chopsticks’ gaming mechanics to create new player experiences, it claims.

Thomas Graf, Greentube CEO, said that Greentube has a strong heritage of skill-based gaming through Novomatic’s involvement in the AWP segment.

“We understand the dynamics of these skill elements very well and are taking this to the next level through this agreement with Chopsticks,” he said.

Michal Palecek, Chopsticks CEO, said that the deal with Greentube would help his company quickly penetrate new markets.

“We look forward to a mutual collaboration to share knowledge that will help us strengthen our development in this area and create the best possible skill-based games,” he added.
