Online gambling operator closure imminent

News on 8 Oct 2015

Isle of Man-based online bingo and casino operator Cladstone Limited has announced that it will be closing down at the end of October and has consequently curtailed all new registrations and deposits.

Players who fail to use or withdraw their account balances by then will find they have been pooled and donated to Gamcare.

The company operates Casina.com, Isisfriends.co.uk, Rogers Bingo.com and Rogers Casino.com, but many users complained that the sites were not intuitively player-friendly and were difficult to navigate.

Our readers will recall that late 2013 Cladstone partnered with Canada’s ISIS Lab (now Imperus Technologies Corporation) in a real-money social network gaming deal using the Isis brand.

At the time ISIS Lab chief executive Daniel Kajouie (who resigned his position earlier this week) described the venture as “…the first true social network built and regulated for the online gaming market, targeting UK customers with a wide variety of online games and offering a number of social hooks designed to increase customer engagement and facilitate player interaction.”
