Online lottery player wins Euro 31 million jackpot

A German woman in her late ‘fifties who bought her European lottery ticket online via Lotto24 has won the Euro 31 million Eurojackpot.
The player is a regular Lotto24 customer who hails from Dortmund in North-Rhine Westphalia, and chose the numbers 3, 6, 9, 18, 24 and the Euro numbers 2 and 7.
She is one of two lucky winners in Europe, Lotto24 revealed in a press release.
“Following the unbelievable EuroJackpot trend of the first six months with eight draws of Euro 90 million, we are delighted to be able to reward a loyal Lotto24 customer with an incredible win of Euro 31 million,” said Petra von Strombeck, CEO of Lotto24 AG. “It’s the biggest win in our six-year history.”
Lotto24 provides the state-run lotteries online.
