Playtech in Spanish partnership

In a follow-up to a multi-year betting and gaming agreement with Spain’s leading sports media brand Marca, online gambling software provider Playtech has launched a managed online and mobile sportsbook offering for the Spanish company.

The MARCAapuestas.es launch follows a long-term agreement signed between MARCA owners Unidad Editorial and Playtech to manage the online and mobile sports and gaming operation for its flagship sports media brand.

The exclusive, multi-year, fully-managed online and mobile software and services deal has seen Playtech successfully migrate existing MARCA players from the previous legacy offering to its platform, delivering a new MARCA online sportsbook, table games and casino, with newly enhanced live casino and progressive and slot titles due to launch in the coming months.

MARCA was founded in 1938 and is Spain’s most read daily print and online newspaper with a daily audience of more than 2.5 million.
