Popular land version of roulette set to return via live dealer

Moves are afoot to resurrect the unique land version of roulette known as Golden 10, using modern internet streaming technology and live dealer action as the vehicle.

The game has not been seen since 2001, but was popular in Netherlands land clubs for almost twenty years prior to that. It is similar to the casino roulette-family, based on 24 numbers + X and 0, implying a total of 26 numbers.

Unique characteristics of the game are a stationary mid-ring and next numbering. The bet of the chips is linked to 3-observation rings, in which, after the cutting of the 3rd ring, there is an insertion / betting stop.

Based on probability calculations, the (normally distributed) net profit percentage is 5.2 percent, according to the Golden 10 website.

The current owners of the game recently signed a letter of intent with Spanish firm Sitges Media Factory (SMF), which is inviting investors to take part in the new online business strategy; this includes the development of live studio facilities and an online platform, and ultimately offering the package via livestreaming to third parties or directly to players online.

SMF is now looking for investors to participate in a project that already has access to more than 80 distribution partners for Golden 10 livestream.

SMF claims that online live streamed casino gaming currently delivers up to 30 percent of all online casino GGR in Europe and therefore holds the prospect of good returns to investors in Golden 10.
