Thai online gambling bust

Thai Police have raided a house in Bangkok’s Bang Phlat district acting on a tip-off that the property housed an online gambling operation, 818Kiss.

After bypassing heavy security, authorities found the three-storey house contained ten computers which were operated by eight members of staff.

Authorities believe the operation comprised “thousands of members” with wagers running into several million Thai Baht each month.

The operation allegedly advertised its gambling services on FaceBook, Police said.
