Trip to nostalgia lane in new online slot

News on 19 Sep 2015

NextGen has taken an unusual and innovative approach to promoting their next release, a 5 reel, 25 pay-line slot themed on the tragic fifties movie star James Dean.

The provider hired Ike McFadden to craft the promotional vid, and the result is a nostalgic sound track and movie clip montage that captures the eye but shows little of the actual game lay-out until the end.

It’s different and distinct from the usual run of new game previews with spinning reels.

The game itself is the work of NextGen and MX Digital, who have developed a quality product featuring the movie icon and relevant symbols such as motor cycles, movie references and the Porsche Spyder in which the young star was tragically killed on September 30 1955…sixty years ago this month.

Features include a full suite of Wilds, Expanding Wilds, Re-spins, Free Spins, Multipliers (up to x750 in the Legend Spins), Scatters and a James Dean Pick Bonus. The RTP is reportedly 95.40 percent.
