Players Network is yet another US company taking advantage of exemptions in federal law that allow betting over the Internet on hrose races. The company this week announced that it will be offering legalised horse race wagering over its new, three channel internet website.
Players globally can watch horse races throughout the United States on Players Network’s site using live streaming video simulcasts and can instantly wager on races taking place at over 40 racetracks throughout the United States.
The gambling company is creating a major commercial promotional campaign, leveraging its Vegas on Demand Channel in the United States, and additional networks throughout the globe to quickly appeal to both domestic and international gamblers, building a large, loyal customer base. The company will also directly target gaming enthusiasts in its existing 3.2 million customer database, using an aggressive promotional campaign consisting of hard mailers and email based marketing.
According to Mark Bradley, CEO of Players Network Inc., “Our network has the unique ability to reach over 141 million homes and hotel rooms globally. With the launch of our new website, coupled with aggressive advertising across all media platforms, Horse Race enthusiasts will know that Players Network is the place to watch and wager on horses at tracks throughout the United States 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the comfort of their own home.”
Players Network is betting that its unique streaming video internet simulcast and instant off track wagering will help fill the void felt by online poker players.
According to Bradley, “The fun of revenue-producing online poker, now illegal in the U.S., is being replaced by web-based horse race gaming.”
And with global video marketing, Players Network is uniquely poised to capture that market, he boasts.
