Another year of scratchcards for Swedish airline

News on 21 Apr 2010

Scratchcard software provider PAF has extended its scratchcard agreement with Swedish charter airline TUIfly Nordic by a year.
The extension follows the success of a year-long trial through in-flight retail supplier Inflight Service Europe AB, enabling passengers to play during flights and win prizes, holidays and money through PAF.com.
Jim Hofverberg, Communications Manager for TUIfly Nordic said this week: “The last year has proved that PAF’s scratchcard concept Scratchorama definitely is something special. We have managed to sell more scratchcards than ever before; even during the last year’s recession with lower passenger numbers.”
PAF said that Scratchorama, which combines an onboard lottery with its online gaming site, is also being operated on the Stena Line ferry services throughout Europe.
The company has ambitions to expand the concept to other airlines that partner with Inflight Service Europe including Air Finland, SAS Charter, Spanair and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia.
