Two Rival-powered online casinos close?

News on 12 May 2010

With as far as is known no public announcements, two Rival-powered online casinos, Slot Power and Vanguard, appear to have ceased operations.
The urls now re-route to a Real Time Gaming-powered online casino, Manhattan Slots.com, which is owned by the reputable Club World Group.
However, Martyn Beacon, an affiliate manager for Club World Casinos, claims that his company has not purchased the two m.i.a. casinos.
“First off can I just confirm that CWC have not purchased either of these two casinos, nor the domain or anything else to do with the casinos, including the affiliate program,” Beacon posted this week.
“I checked into this and our business relationship with these URL’s extends as far as an affiliate account. It seems they have put a redirect on from their URL sending all traffic to one of our casinos, Manhattan Slots.”
It is understood that both Slot Power and Vanguard were owned by Robert Forman’s Cyprus-based First Gaming Partners.  Slot Power was a re-branded operation formerly titled Absolute Slots, which launched in September 2008, and was acquired by FGP in June 2009.
