Adelson allies moving fast on RAWA

Sheldon Adelson’s political allies in the US Congress are pushing his recently reintroduced Restoration of the American Wire Act ahead at a cracking pace, wasting no time this year in setting up a Congressional hearing to progress the measure.

Quoting an anonymous source on Capitol Hill, pro-online gambling activist Michelle Minton revealed on Twitter Thursday that the House bill introduced by Rep. Jason Chaffetz will be the subject of a hearing before the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security and Investigations on March 5.

Confirmation, and further details on the hearing, is now awaited.
