AGCC notice on anti-money laundering

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) is urging its eGambling licencees and certificate holders to familiarise themselves on a research report by the Committee of Experts evaluating anti-money laundering measures and the financing of Terrorism (Moneyval), a body of the Council of Europe.

Licencees are requested to ensure their Business Risks Assessments and Internal Control Systems are up to scratch using the issues highlighted in the research report which is titled “The use of online gambling for money laundering and the financing of terrorism purposes”.
