Alleged live dealer cheating creates a furore among black jack players

Cheating whilst on a live dealer camera would not seem to be a viable or even sensible proposition, but a furore over exactly such an event hit the internet over the weekend, when a Youtube vid purported to show a black jack player being shafted by a dealer on the BetOnline site on January 25 this year surfaced.

Although it has not addressed the incident directly, after initially maintaining silence BetOnline revealed that earlier this year it had become dissatisfied with the live dealer product provided by Global Gaming Labs (GGL) of Costa Rica, and has subsequently switched to the Visionary iGaming product.
In an announcement on February 20 BetOnline said it had cut Global Gaming Labs in favour of Live Dealer Casino third-party vendor Visionary iGaming – effective immediately.
It went on to detail the reasons as “…client-side complaints regarding the number of available tables, games offered, lackadaisical dealers, and poor hand reporting” which prompted the company to embark on a search for another provider in early January 2017.
“It was decided that ViG would offer a superior product for the BetOnline.ag players. ViG was notified mid-January, and as of 18 February 2017, the new vendor is in production on BetOnline.ag,” the company advised.
BetOnline subsequently revealed that it is investigating the cheating report in collaboration with GGL, and urged any parties with substantiated information that could be useful to contact casino@betonline.ag.
