Amaya in content deal with Belgian operator

The Montreal-based Amaya Gaming online gambling software group announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Belgian online casino operator Groupe Circus to provide a full suite of proprietary and branded games to Casino777.be.

The deal is part of a three-year licensing partnership first announced in July .

David Baazov, president and CEO at Amaya Gaming said: “Our casino products are an integral part of our strategy to capitalise on the convergence of online and land-based gaming, enabling our partners to offer their clients the best of both worlds.”

Commenting on the Groupe Circus deal, Baazov said: “We have established a great new relationship with a respected operator in a new market to grow our business online and we hope to potentially expand on that relationship in the future.”

Casino777.be was one of the first online gambling websites to achieve licensed status from the Belgian Gaming Commission, commencing operations in late 2011. The site also offers content from International Game Technology (IGT).

Emmanuel Mewissen, chief executive officer for Groupe Circus said that the Amaya Gaming suite of casino games is well-known as being highly popular with players as well as highly profitable for operators.
