Lawyers working for daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings are probably having a busy time dealing with various class actions launched against the Boston-based company by players who see an opportunity to exploit the current legality debate swirling around the company and its product (see previous reports).

The latest of these class actions was filed in Massachusetts this week by one Jeremy Rohrs, who claims he is suing DraftKings on behalf of himself and “thousands of other” Massachusetts residents who have paid fees to participate in the company’s competitions, in which he lost $175 but is claiming millions in damages due the company’s allegedly illegal online sports betting” activities.
