Aussie NRL bans gambling sponsorship on womens league competition

An article by Australian news outlet, Seven News, details a policy document from the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) sent to sixteen National Rugby League (NRL) clubs that issues a directive banning above-the-line gambling sponsorship in the new NRL Women’s Premiership competition.

Teams in the Women’s NRL competition will be banned from displaying gambling logos on jerseys and venues, Seven News reports.
