Betfair appoints chief legal officer

UK online gambling firm Betfair has promoted from within replacing outgoing chief legal officer Martin Cruddace with its director of regulatory affairs, Fiona Russell.

Russell has held a number of positions within Betfair since 2006, prior to which she was employed in her capacity as a solicitor at BSkyB.
