Betfair partners with Trump Plaza

UK online betting and gaming operator Betfair has confirmed its partnership with Trump Plaza Associates LLC, in a press release issued this morning (Wednesday).

As such Betfair will offer online gaming in New Jersey under an agreement with Trump Plaza who holds a New Jersey internet gambling permit.

The company said it will follow up its “LetsPlayNJ.com” campaign, where prospective customers can receive more information on the company developments ahead of the State officially opening its market, with a heavy-weight multi-faceted advertising campaign in New Jersey involving billboards, online advertising, TV, radio and social media.

Betfair’s current campaign features digital display ads at the ferry terminals in Hoboken targeting New Jersey commuters as well as Twitter and Facebook social profiles offering free-to-play competitions, sweepstakes and games ahead of launch .

“New Jersey is leading the way by launching online gaming and creating a new economy,” said Paul La Fontaine, managing director of gaming for Betfair. “Betfair brings more than a decade of online experience, and through our platform will be pleased to enable play anywhere, anytime, through web and mobile devices.”
