News on 7 Jun 2014

The major UK betting company Betfred appears to have exited the German market, telling players this week:

“Please be advised that from Monday 9th June we will be unable to allow deposits or gambling from residents of Germany.

“If you are a resident and have any remaining funds in your account, they will need to be withdrawn within 30 days as access to your account will be unavailable beyond then.

“Please login to your account as soon as possible and withdraw your funds.

“Whilst we are no longer able to hold accounts for residents of your country, you are able to sign up with our partner Mobibet, where you will receive a 100 percent sign up bonus up to 150 euro.”

Mobibet is an online sportsbook with over 10,000 live games each month and an easy to use mobile application offering odds in football and tennis, complimented with casino games.

The Curacao-licensed operator, MMB N.V., has been active since 2011 and offers sportsbetting, live dealer, online and mobile casino action powered by a variety of providers that includes Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Evolution and NYX.

Earlier this year there were complaints regarding pay-outs on major forums like Sports Book Review.
