Better online gambling results in Delaware

The Delaware State Lottery has issued its statistics on internet gambling for August, reporting that revenues were the highest this year at $158,980 following a 12 percent increase over the preceding month.

However, on a year-on-year comparative basis the news is disappointing, as revenues are down eight percent.

August online poker revenues were up on July 2015, but the numbers are small at $31,248, and on a year-on-year basis are down a good 12 percent.

New player registrations also declined, with just 316 new accounts opened, well down from the 378 recorded in July 2015, and lower compared with last year.
