The international executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has been engaged by Gibraltar-based online gambling group BetVictor to find eight new managers as the company seeks to beef up its leadership at the C level.

New chief executive officer Andreas Meinrad says applications from both existing and external managers are welcome as the company looks to fill vacancies for Chief Financial Officer. Chief Commercial Officer, Director of Engineering, Director of Casino and Poker, Head of Brand and Creative, Head of Acquisitions, Head of Business Intelligence and Analytics and Head of Trading Risk.

Meinrad said the new key C-level and senior manager roles will complement the existing management team and help take BetVictor to the next level.

“Building on our strong brand and sporting heritage, we need the right people, at this time of strong and sustained growth, who share our drive and determination to help take us on the next step of our journey,” he said.

In other moves at BetVictor this week Paul Louis switched from managing director to chief operating officer, and COO Matt Scarrott was moved to director of sport and VIP business.

A year ago racehorse owner and former bookie Michael Tabor acquired ownership of BetVictor for an undisclosed sum. At the time the company announced that chief executive Michael Carlton and chairman Victor Chandler would step down but act as consultants during the transition period.

In November last year Tabor appointed former Bwin.Party exec Andreas Meinrad as the company’s new chief executive officer with effect from February 1 2015. Meinrad has a marketing and commercial background.
