California police in online gambling bust

Following complaints from neighbours and members of the public, Stockton, California police and Department of Justiceofficials have conducted a raid on a venue titled D’s Cyber Lounge following an eight-month undercover investigation that began last year.

The raid, carried out Monday, found evidence of online gambling, and officers seized a number of guns, computers and an ATM. However, they disclosed few details on the case due to on-going enquiries.

Whilst the raid was in progress an employee arrived and was searched, revealing a number of drug packages which officials believe were ready for sale from the premises. The employee was arrested and investigations continue.
