Casinomeister warns affiliates regarding Rushmore de-tagging

News on 27 Jun 2012

Allegations that affiliate management company C-Planet has effectively been taking the bread from the mouths of affiliate marketers of the Rushmore group of online casinos are creating shockwaves through the affiliate industry this morning after a de-tagging scam was exposed by Casinomeister owner Bryan Bailey.

Bailey claims firsthand knowledge and experience of the scam after conducting an investigation among his players and members, and has consequently issued a warning that may well see other affiliate webmasters taking a closer look at their stats and talking to their players.

“I am absolutely positive that the administration of C-Planet has been de-tagging referred players,” Bailey writes in his industry warning. “I know for sure that it’s happened at Casinomeister, and if they are brazen enough to do it at Casinomeister, for sure they will do it to you.”

Online casinos named in the scam include:

Rushmore Casino
Slot Oasis
Cherry Red
Slotsville
Pure Vegas
Euro City

Bailey reports that during the period of April 2008 to June 2010, over 1,000 of his players deposited at the Rushmore casino group via Casinomeister links.

“By March 2011, the stats at C-Planet had flatlined with no activity whatsoever. I thought this a little odd since there would be some activity under normal circumstances, but since the Rushmore Casino group was dissatisfying so many players, I figured people had quit playing there. I was totally wrong,” Bailey claims.

Subsequent investigations proved that players had been active, but were not being credited to the originating affiliate (Casinomeister). Bailey gives examples of these players to prove his allegations…pointing out that his investigation so far has only interviewed members of his forum – wider enquiries among his newsletter readers and occasional visitors to his site could throw up more uncredited referrals.

“Whatever the case may be, the player stats have been tampered with,” he asserts with confidence.

Bailey followed this up with an invitation for C-Planet and the operator of the Rushmore group to give an explanation. He was ignored.
