Coljuegos awards seventh online license

Inverstark S.A.S. has become the seventh company to be granted a five-year online gambling concession by the Columbian regulator ColJuegos.

Inverstark S.A.S. will launch its online betting offer at masgol.co after meeting stringent technical, legal and financial requirements.

Masgol joins six other licensees active in the regulated market – wplay.co, betplay.com.co, colbet.co, zamba.co, codere.com.co and mijugada.co.

Coljuegos encouraged operators to apply for licensing, saying:  “We want more operators to obtain authorization from Coljuegos to achieve a strong sector that is tuned to the new technologies.”

Two applications are currently under review with the regulator who is targeting twenty licensed platforms operating in the market by the end of 2018.

Illegal operators continue to be targeted with 325 domains currently blocked from the market.
