DEGEN Studios sends Bob the Alien into orbit

DEGEN Studios has launched Bob the Alien, under the DEGEN Powered banner, in collaboration with SpinLab. Set in a neon-lit galaxy where logic breaks down, every spin builds towards a volatile chain reaction.

Built on a 5×3 grid, the game is driven by activation, escalation and controlled chaos. Wilds don’t just land, they need to be triggered. Multipliers don’t just exist, they stack, combine and explode when everything lines up.

The grid itself never settles. Falling Wilds drop in and change position with every spin, creating setups that shift in real time and reward timing as much as volatility.

At the centre of the experience is control. Through the Alert Feature Spin, players earn bullets that activate Wilds, unlocking their multipliers and turning quiet setups into high-impact moments. Until activated, Wilds remain at base value, meaning the real impact depends on when they are brought to life.

Meanwhile, two distinct bonus modes reshape the experience entirely. Galactic Doors focuses on resource and momentum, awarding bullets to build pressure across spins, while Infinity locks Wilds in place, allowing multipliers to stack and push steadily towards the game’s maximum potential.

This progression feeds directly into a defined max win chase, where players move through layers of activation, setup and multiplier build before reaching peak states. Rather than a single trigger moment, the system is designed to sustain intent, with each phase bringing the player closer to the game’s highest payout potential.

Danny Gordon, Head of Studio at DEGEN Studios, said: “Bob the Alien is an awesome release with tons of depth from the SpinLab team. It produces so many huge moments, whether it’s locking in wilds in the bonus or hitting back-to-back max wins in the all-new MAX MODE. Bright, colourful, and a wild ride, we’re so happy to be part of this (space) adventure!”
