Former ministerial advisor fills executive role at FDJ

The French National lottery operator Francaise Des Jeux (FDJ) has announced the appointment of Patrick Raude (45) in the capacity of Regulatory and European Affairs Director.
Raude’s mission is to prepare the FDJ’s position on issues of National and European regulation, monitor relationships with supervising authorities and ensure compliance of business practices.
After beginning his career at the European Commission, Raude went on to a position in the French Ministry of Industry, the Budget Department in the Ministry of Finance and was adviser to the French Prime Minister on media, film and telecommunications issues.  He was a member of the Regulatory Authority for electronic communications (mobile, internet and telephone) before taking up his current position at FDJ.
