Foxy Bingo’s new TV advert echoes the Grand Budapest Hotel

The London-based creative advertising agency Tricycle celebrated its ninth year of handling the Foxy Bingo brand with the launch of a slick new television advert this (January) month, evoking memories of the recent smash hit movie The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Tricycle agrees that the entertaining movie inspired its new advert for Foxy, in which the now familiar lead character gets his groove on in his very own Foxy hotel. The cameras follow Foxy through the lobby and down the corridors, popping up in the pool and swinging by the spa, everywhere he goes spreading Foxy fun among celebrities and staff alike. Bell hops and bus boys, waiters and guests; everyone wants a piece of the Foxy action.

Tricycle has built a strong brand for the online bingo company, using a combination of 30 second TV ads and an ongoing sponsorship campaign tied to The Jeremy Kyle Show.

The multi-platform campaign continues to tie together TVC, sponsorship, billboards, radio, bus backs and sides, print and online, with an enhanced digital presence for the brand through social media games and viral documentary-style spots. That’s complemented with associations with charities like Comic Relief and Breast Cancer Awareness.
