The French regulator ARJEL has announced the approval of new online gambling licenses to Aubsail SAS in respect of its operation France-pari-sportif.fr, which is authorised to offer a range of internet sports betting that includes fixed odds and live betting. The licence was issued for five years from July 7.
France-bet-sportif.com is the brainchild of Olympic sailing ace Derrendinger Arnaud, a 33-year-old Brestois who raised Euros 2.5 million and expects turnover of around Euro 6 million in the first year, reports the newspaper Telegram. The investors are all Breton sports lovers with faith in the young entrepreneur, who after competitive sailing at the highest levels, founded the company in Brest.
The still small organisation has a staff of twenty and its digital partner is Technopole Brest.
“Obtaining the approval and [the] opening of the site marks the actual beginning of the adventure. After those early years of “warming up” Pari Sportif France can finally get into the game! ” says Arnaud.
Iliad Gaming SAS, a company associated with Chilipoker.fr, has also received approval for an additional French domained operation titled Turbopoker.fr to operate with effect from 7 July.
