Gambling.com acquires mobile network

Digital marketing services provider Gambling.com Group plc has announced an agreement to acquire a mobile performance marketing network created by Sabin Brooks and Mike Webb for an initial cash consideration of GBP 3 million, with a one-year 25 percent earn-out provision dependent on performance of up to GBP 4.5 million in Gambling.com stock.

Brooks and Webb are to join the Gambling.com team as part of the deal, sharing their expertise from four years of developing websites and mobile apps specialising in online gambling content for mobile users in a variety of jurisdictions.

In a statement Thursday, Gambling.com advised that the agreement should generate sales of approximately Euro 400,000 with a pre-tax profit margin of more than 90 percent during the first quarter of 2018. The acquisition is being consolidated from January 1st, 2018.

Charles Gillespie, Gambling.com Group chief executive, said:

Gambling.com Group plc was founded in 2006 and provides digital marketing services for the global iGaming industry. The group has a workforce of over 70 and operates from offices in Dublin, Tampa, Monaco and Malta.
