Gaming Corps – a publicly-listed game development company based in Sweden, has released Fins of Fortune, its latest video slot featuring two competing Wild characters, coin-based prize symbols and multiple Free Spins modes.
Taking place in the twilight depths of the ocean,Fins of Fortune frames its gameplay around the rivalry between the Shark and the Orca, as both creatures surge from the darkness in pursuit of the sea’s hidden treasure. Played on a 4×5 grid with 1,024 ways to win, the game anchors its underwater setting to a clear, ways-based structure.
Both Wild symbols play a central role in shaping gameplay. The Shark Wild appears exclusively at the top of the third reel, while the Orca Wild can land only at the bottom of the same reel. When in play, each Wild can activate a combination of Summon, Collect and other prize-modifying features, influencing how the underwater riches build and shift across the grid through Coins and Treasure Coins.
Coins can land anywhere on the reels and carry values of up to x1,000 bet, while Treasure Coins introduce additional prize tiers including Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. Depending on which Wild is active, Coin values may be added to, doubled, summoned onto the grid or collected at the end of a spin, creating constant movement beneath the surface.
Free Spins can be triggered by either Wild during the base game, with each character unlocking its own dedicated Free Spins mode. During Shark Free Spins or Orca Free Spins, the respective Wild is locked on the grid for the duration of the feature, while Summon and other prize-modifying mechanics, such as Adder or Double, occur more frequently. If the opposing Wild lands during these modes, the game upgrades to Fortune Free Spins, where both Wilds are locked in place and additional spins are awarded.
Viacheslav Pechernyi, Product Owner at Gaming Corps, said: “With Fins of Fortune, the aim was to let the theme do more of the work. The Shark and Orca aren’t just visual characters: they influence how prizes build, how features trigger and how the Free Spins modes unfold, creating a game that feels structured but still unpredictable. It’s a strong addition to our 2026 launch schedule and sets the tone for what’s coming next.”
