Glück Games and LottoInteractive develop crossover concept

News on 15 Aug 2017

Scratch card, instant win and lottery games developer Glück Games and skill-based mobile games developer LottoInteractive Inc. have partnered to develop and launch a crossover product titled Star Match.

Star Match, initially launched as an instant win Tuesday, will be closely followed by an interactive scratch card.

Players are tasked to match three or more Hollywood icons to collect as many stars as possible, gaining points and bonuses along the way before a digital lottery cash prize is revealed.

The partnership will collectively provide a prize tier in the scratchcard that awards free plays in the instant win game, an innovation that will drive cost-effective user acquisition, the companies said.

“As an iGaming developer with a focus upon the ‘casual real-money gaming’ crossover, we are very excited to introduce the skill-based playing experience that Star Match provides to our ever-increasing player base,” Robert Lenzhofer, chief executive officer of Glück Games, said.

“We are delighted to work with such an innovative partner as Glück Games, and to bring the North American success of Star Match to much larger European audiences, offering a skill-based experience and mobile game mechanics that younger audiences have come to love,” added Brian Ward, chief executive officer of Lotto Interactive.

Both products, powered by Glück Games’ proprietary Real-money Gaming & Commerce Server (RGCS) platform, will be available on iOS, Android, PC or Mac initially going live across Europe on Lottoland.com.
