Good year-on-year growth in 2017 for Fortuna Entertainment

Central and Eastern European gambling group Fortuna Entertainment has posted a strong set of 2017 results, attributing growth to its regional expansion strategy.
Highlights of the report include:
* Gross win up 87.4 percent year-on-year at Euro 305.4 million;
* EBITDA up 148.1 percent at Euro 55 million;
* Net profit up 86.4 percent at Euro 15.4 million;
* Wagers over the year rose 93.1 percent to Euro 2 billion;
* Successfuil integration of acquisitions Hattrick Sports Group and Fortbet Romania;
Chief executive Per Widerstrom reported:
“The strong preliminary financial results for 2017 reflect our growth strategy with investments into operational excellence, new platforms and regional expansion. Thanks to that, we recorded a substantial growth in all reported key indicators. If we adjust for one-off costs related to M&A and Integration, the EBITDA increased 169 percent year-on-year.”
