Hard Rock International has appointed Kresimir Spajic to head up its online gaming activity.

The land casino, restaurant, hotel, fashion and music group says the new executive position is responsible for the strategy and operational execution of the group’s interactive gaming platforms, and that Spajic will be instrumental in securing new strategic partnerships and future opportunities in the international and online gaming spaces.

“With his numerous achievements and outstanding results in past leadership roles, Kresimir brings a wealth of knowledge to the brand,” says Jon Lucas, executive vice president of Hotel & Casino operations for Hard Rock International.

“Kresimir’s abundant domestic and international experience in the online gaming industry makes him an ideal fit for this position, and we look forward to seeing our gaming business continue to grow under his leadership.”

Prior to joining Hard Rock, Spajic was the principal consultant of online gaming at Chicago casino operator Rush Street Gaming, where he worked closely with the company’s top management on an online gaming business model, market penetration strategies, organisational structure and vendor agreements.

Spajic also served as the principal consultant and project leader of online gaming for the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa at Boyd Gaming Group, and previously held various executive roles in the online gaming and marketing and advertising industry.
