The New Delhi Enforcement Directorate (NDED) has attached Rs 1,90,71,000 in assets of government official Sanjay Kumar following a cricket betting and money laundering investigation.
The NDED attached immovable property of one Bimal Ramgopal Agarwal to the extent of Rs. 96,75,000, who is also implicated in the case, and immovable property of Kumar valued at Rs. 93,96,000.
The case dates back to September 22, 2015, where the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered a case against numerous, high profile civil servants, including Kumar, who were alleged to be indulging in corrupt practices.
