Macau boosts air travel infrastructure

Access to the worlds biggest gambling Mecca will improve with the upgrade of Macau International Airport announced Simon Chan Weng Hong, president of the Macau Civil Aviation Authority.
A new development plan has been drawn up to improve airport services which will allow the airport to cater for 7.1 million passengers annually by 2020, increasing by a further 7.9 million passengers by 2030.
Macau International Airport’s current statistics recorded 4.08 million passengers using the airport in 2010, 4 percent down from the previous year.
