Online gambling software and games provider Microgaming has announced another epic win on its progressive jackpot network, bringing total pay-outs to players by the system to Euro 574 million to date.

On Friday 8th April 2016, a Spin Palace player hit the Mega Moolah jackpot, claiming Euro 6,905,670.81. As with all Microgaming’s progressive wins, the windfall will be paid out to the player in a lump sum.

“It is always an incredible feeling to have one of our players become an instant multi-millionaire. On behalf of everyone at Spin Palace, congratulations to our winning player on their near Euro 7 million fortune,” a spokesperson from Spin Palace said in a press statement.

Microgaming made headlines in October 2015 when Betway UK player Jon Heywood won the GBP equivalent of Euro17,879,645.12, playing Microgaming’s Mega Moolah (see previous report). That win set a Guinness World Record title for “largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game”.

The press statement did not disclose any information on the player, his or her reactions or plans for the windfall.
