Merger for French online gambling regulator?

French media reports indicate that National Assembly politicians have introduced a bill proposing a merge of the online gambling regulator L’Autorité de regulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) with anti-doping authority l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage (AFLD).

The combined body will be known as the Authority on the Integrity of Sport and Online Gambling (AISJEL).

The bill received its first reading this week in the French National Assembly.
