NetEnt enters Mexican regulated market with Codere content deal

Swedish online gambling games and software supplier NetEnt has announced an important inaugural milestone in its Latin American expansion strategy – a content deal with existing Spanish client Codere that will see the company’s games presented to the regulated Mexican online casino market.

Codere has a significant presence in the traditional land-based casino markets in Spain, Italy and Latin America, and is one of the largest casino operators in Mexico, with operator licensing for both land-based and online casino operations, a NetEnt statement explained Monday.

The statement advises that the agreement enables the Swedish company to provide its portfolio offerings to Codere through that company’s existing operator licence.

”I am really excited to enter the regulated online casino market in Mexico together with Codere. This is our first market entry in Latin America and marks another milestone as we follow our long-term strategy to enter and grow in new regulated markets. I’m convinced that we can support Codere’s online casino growth and that players in Mexico will enjoy our games”, said Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas LLC.
