New Jersey DGE grants NetEnt transactional waiver

News on 1 Sep 2015

NetEnt has received a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement for the Borgata and bwin.party brands ahead of approval of its application for a Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence for the New Jersey market.

NetEnt’s recent deals with Golden Nugget and Caesars Interactive Entertainment will need to follow the same process in receiving individual transactional waivers from the regulator.

Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas LLC, said: “The approval of the transactional waiver for Borgata and bwin.party in New Jersey marks yet another milestone in our efforts to successfully go to market and build a long-term presence in North America.

“We are working in close collaboration with our partners and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to secure that necessary administration is taken to successfully go live as soon as possible.”
