Popcorn Games, a new social gaming development start-up is due to release its first social game for Facebook titled “BingoVillage” that includes, what the company claims to be, a new patent pending solution for virtual goods.

BingoVillage is the culmination of a combined twelve years experience in the online bingo industry of founders Lawrence Gouett and Juan Murillo, who originally founded the UK-based community gaming business GameVillage.com said a company statement.

“We will use this opportunity to showcase our new patent pending solution for virtual goods. Our formula for success has been creating new and compelling community experiences online and in the UK market we achieved one of the highest player retention rates of any bingo operation. It is our combination of technology, ideas and entertainment that keeps our players returning year after year and we will bring this style of community retention to our new business in the social gaming sector,” said Gouett.

The company is focusing its future strategy on the development of a variety of new game apps and on licencing and B2B opportunities concerning its virtual goods solution.
