Nice plug for Tzvetkoff book

News on 30 Jun 2014

James Leighton, the author of a biographical book on erstwhile Australian e-payment processor turned federal informant Daniel Tzvetkoff, received a useful boost from the major UK newspaper The Telegraph which published a lengthy summary of his book “Alligator Blood” Sunday.

The summary, written by Leighton, opens with the following:

“It took just six years for Daniel Tzvetkoff to go from working for minimum wage at a Brisbane Pizza Hut to raking in $3 million per week in Las Vegas. In that time the 25 year old splashed out on a $30 million mansion, a 100ft yacht, a private jet, twenty luxury cars, a nightclub, and a V8 racing team.

“It was a meteoric rise for one man – but the eventual fall, when it came, proved to be catastrophic not just for Tzvetkoff, but also for everyone involved in the US online poker industry.”

The piece goes on to outline the content of the book, and can be read here for those who would like to refresh their memories of a major incident in online poker history:
