Old company new brand in online gambling

The Olympic Entertainment Group announced Thursday that it has unified its online gambling services under the new Olybet brand, and has launched a sports betting service, along with a network of sports bars in Estonia and Latvia.

Online poker, casino and sportsbetting interests will all come under the Olybet umbrella brand.

Changes include the replacement of 17 existing “casino lounges” in Estonia and Latvia, and their replacement with new sports bars.

The brand change is accompanied by a poker software provider change – from Playtech to Microgaming, group CEO Madis Jaager revealed.

Other changes were reported by Iforium, which has worked on launching the new Olybet brand.

The software developer said that it has signed a multi-year agreement with the new brand.

“In launching OlyBet, Iforium has managed and delivered OlyBet’s complete sports betting and gaming lifecycle across their land based, retail, mobile and online environments,” a company statement revealed.

“This has been achieved by the deployment of Wagerflex, its complete player account management platform and GameFlex, its full multi-vendor casino and bonusing solution.

“In addition, Iforium has integrated a range of premium sports and gaming content to support the OlyBet Sportsbook, Casino and Poker channels as well as delivering regionalised payment integrations.

Kaido Ulejev, general manager at OlyBet, commented:

“Olympic Entertainment Group’s requirements when seeking the correct platform for OlyBet were exacting as we required a software partner that would support our existing operations in Estonia as well as our launch into Latvia.

“Iforium has delivered the launch of OlyBet on time and is providing a level of system functionality that will permit OlyBet to maximise its potential and support our future growth plans.”
