Paddy Power looking for creative inspiration

News on 11 Nov 2014

UK marketing consultancy Oystercatchers will manage a review of Paddy Power’s creative advertising account following a three-year stint with creative agency Crispin Porter & Bugusky (CPB).

Paul Sweeney, the head of brand at Paddy Power, told Campaign Live UK: “After three amazing years with Crispin Porter & Bugusky, a fantastic campaign and a bagful of award-winning ads, we are looking to take our brand to the next stage of development in the market.”

Oystercatchers is expected to set up “chemistry meetings” between Paddy Power and suitable agencies in the near future after which the bookmaker will identify a short list followed by pitches in early 2015.

CPB were the creative force behind Paddy Power’s “We Hear You” campaign.  It is unclear whether they will be punting for the continuation of the business.

According to Campaign Live, the process should leave creative company Lucky Generals unaffected.  The company works with Paddy Power’s “mischief department” on campaign ideas.
