Gunn Merete Paulsen has returned to Norwegian gambling regulator Lotteri-og stiftelsestilsynet (Lottstift) replacing Atle Hamar who was appointed Secretary of State in the Ministry of Climate and Environment after heading up Lottstift for the past 18 years.

Paulsen, a lawyer, formerly served four of her seven-year tenure as deputy director at the regulator, leaving Lottstift in 2015 to join PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
