Regulatory authority suspends Sheriff Gaming licence

Bubble Group BV trading as gaming developer Sheriff Gaming has had its Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) licence suspended pending a regulatory hearing.

The AGCC investigation was prompted following a large scale investigation into the three successful young millionaires behind the company by the Dutch Prosecuting Authority, Kansspelauthoriteit Gaming Commission and Dutch Tax Authority at the end of May 2013 .

Michel Gregoire (32), Maurice Gregoire (34) and Stijn Flapper (34) were under investigation for their alleged involvement in the operation of seven online gambling websites named as Casino Amsterdam, Amsterdams Poker, Fruit Luck, Tanzoo, Jackpot Red, Triple Gold, Golden Ten, and Tanzoo at the time.

Sheriff Gaming is required to suspend its operations immediately until the AGCC’s suspension notice is cancelled following the outcome of a hearing scheduled for October 29, 2013 at the Royal Automobile Club in London.
