SG Gaming chief quits

News on 5 Feb 2013

In October last year Ian Timmis took up the mantle of chief executive officer at London-based SG Gaming, a company formed by Scientific Games merging its Barcrest, Games Media and The Global Draw subsidiaries.

It has turned out to be a short tenure, with Timmis resigning effective end March 2013 in order to return to Australia “for personal reasons.”

There is little doubt that the Cambridge-educated exec will find management employment back in the land of Oz; he has an impressive 20-year industry management background that includes time spent at Capral Limited as chief financial officer and a period as group general manager for the Aussie gambling supply company Aristocrat.
